If you don´t have the opportunity to buy bobbins you can make them yourself at home.
I used to create these homemade bobbins out of old, unused markers and pencils.Cut off both ends of the pencil, apply glue to a long, thin strip of paper and tightly wrap it around one end of the pencil, for the other end you wrap about a third of the pencil using either wider strips of paper, or string.Coat the paper/string in glue and let it dry for a day or two, so they harden.
It is an easy bobbin lace pattern - bird. You can use it as application on the pillow or on the bag or as the picture on the wall. You can download the pattern fromhere.
If you are a beginner bobbin lace maker, you don´t have to buy expensive sets. You can try to create you own set. Here you can find a pattern for a simple bobbin lace pillow. Cut a circle out of cloth and sew it together with a quadrat of cloth as a sack. Fill it with dry sawdust or dry sand. I never tried with it sand, but I think if you not able to get a sawdust you can try it with sand too. Fill it tightly and cover it with a circle cutted from cardboard and tie the brink of the pillow tightly.

Az így keletkezett zsákot jó szorosan megtöltjük száraz fűrészporral.
Azt hiszem hogy száraz homokot is lehetne használni.Kartonlapból kivágott
ugyzanakkora kör alakkal mint az alap letarjuk és a madzagot jól szorosan
megkötve lezárjuk. Kész.
Ak je niekto začiatočná paličkárka, nemusí hneď kupovať drahú paličkársku
súpravu. Baba na paličkovanie sa dá jednoducho vyrobiť aj doma.
Vystrihnutý kruhový základ treba zošiť so štvorcom. Druhý voľný koniec
zašijeme a pretiahneme silnú šnúru.Takto vzniknuté vreco treba silno
naplniť suchými pilinami. Možno že by sa dal použiť aj suchý piesok.
Zakryjeme kruhom vystrihnutým z kartonu, ktorý má veľkosť ako základ,
A silno zatiahneme šnúrkou. Baba na paličkovanie je hotová.
