Even at the beginning when I started writing this blog I added this picture of my Easter egg what I made. Here is the link to the photo. You can see it was at Monday, September 7, 2009. Yeah, quite long ago. Today I was faced to the fact that eggs what I make are sale on Etsy. Maybe you guess that not by me. The another my pattern what I noticed on Etsy is this one.

Dedorated eggs - Kraslice in blue

and i decided them to make in the shadow of blue color.







I know it's early to write about Easter when Christmas is knocking in the door.
So.. here is an inspiration for you for a Christmas. Santa made from pine cone :)

These eggs are my masterpieces. Making of a piece takes several hours. For the creation of these eggs I used a copper wire of different thicknesses and colors.

Inspired with KALOCSAI

When I'm looking for an inspiration for decorating eggs I often look for embroidery designs.With these Easter eggs I was inspired by a beautiful embroidery pattern called "Kalocsai". This beautiful embroider is even worn by many world-famous celebrities, like Iker Casillas - Real Madrid's goalkeeper, F1 McLarren members Lewis Hamilton and Jesen Button. Even Nicole  Kidman was recently spotted in a beautiful dress with the Kalocsai embroidery.

Easter eggs painted etched and dotted

I'm sorry that I haven't posted anything in a long while, but my full attention was spent on Easter. Since I'm still very busy, I won't be able to post any new patterns, but in the meanwhile, I'll post an old pattern of mine that I haven't published on the internet yet.

Painted, engraved and dotted Easter eggs

These eggs are dyed colors in kind such as tea, onion skins and the like.

I outlined the contours  and painted with acrylic paints.

With my drill  I highlighted the lines and finally I dotted  the eggs with a thick acrylic paint.

HU- Ezek a húsvéti tojások természetes anyagokkal vannak festve.  Úgy mint tea, hagyma héja és hasonló. 
A mintát ceruzával felvázoltam, akryl festékkel kifestettem, a kis fúrómmal kiemeltem a kontúrokat és 
sűrű akryl festékkel pöttyöztem. Kicsit macerás munka de az eredmény szép. :)

SK- Tieto kraslice sú robené na vajíčka farbené prírodnými farbami ako čaj, cibuľové šupky a podobne.
Vzor som nakreslila ceruzkou. Vyplnila som akrylovými farbami. Kontúry som zdôraznila malou hobby vŕtačkou a dobodkovala hustou akrylovou farbou. Trošku zdĺhavá práca ale výsledok stojí za to :)

Decorated eggs with straw

These eggs are decorated with straw. It is one of my favorite technique. This is a typical Slovak patter of pysankys or Easter eggs decoration what is redesigned to modern design.

Kraslice zdobené slamou. Je to jedna z mojich oblľúbených techník zdobenia kraslíc.  Je to náš Slovenský vzor zdobenia so slamou v modernom štýle.

Szalmával díszített hímestojások. A szalmával való díszítés az egyike a kedvenc technikáim kozul.
Ez egy tipikus szlovák szalmás minta modern stílusban.

Carved Easter eggs

I know that you are preparing for a Christmas, but I am already making Easter eggs for the next spring. Of course I am a creative woman and along with my work I am preparing for the Christmas also. The next I would like to surprise you with the eggs decorated in Christmas style. The eggs on this photo are in rustic style. They are carved on brown eggs for an antique rustic style.

                            Winter still is dreaming
                             Of snow and icicles,
                             As we put away our swimsuits,
                             Our boats and bicycles.
                             Wisps of smoke from chimneys
                             Tell of cozy, crackling fires.
                              Fall is being born,
                              As summer now retires.

Decorating with straw

Here you can see the steps how to prepare the straw for decorating. I use it mostly for decorating the Easter eggs, but it can be used to making  a pictures or sculptures too.

Itt láthatjátok a lépéseket, hogy kell a szalmát elokészíteni a díszítéshez. Én általában a Húsvéti tojás díszítésére használom, de lehet képeket alkotni szalmábol és kulonféle figurákat. Pl. harangot, angyalkát. stb.
Ha szeretnél tobbet tudni, csak kulddj uzenetet, vagy írj kommentet, szívesen segítek.

Tu môžeš vidieť postup, ako pripraviť slamu na dekorovanie. Ja to používam väčšinou na dekorovanie Veľkonočných vajec. Zo slamy sa dajú ale vytvoriť aj rôzne obrazy a figúrky, ako zvončeky, anjiely a pod.

Slovak pysanky

I like these kind of Easter eggs very much. The technique of making these decorated eggs are similar like Russian or Ukrainan easter eggs but the patterns are different. They are made with kistka, these easter eggs are called pysanky. At the present the making of these kind of decorated eggs are not so popular although they are wonderful. More popular are the modern type of them like wired or decorated eggs like madeira embroidery.
Only white eggshells are used. If someone is a beginer, it´s a good idea to draw the lines with a pencil, and draw out with the kistka.
Submerge the kistka into a hot mix of wax and paraffin and draw the line on the white eggshell. After that is done, submerge the eggshell in a brighter color, like yellow. Next, draw another line or form with the kistka and submerge the egg in a darker color, like orange or red.
Finally, you have to hold the egg close to a candle fire, for the wax to become liquid, and while it´s in that state, wipe it of carefully with a soft piece of cloth.
That´s the basics for making these eggs.

Ez a fajta hímestojás nagyon tetszik. Az elkészítése technikája hasonló mint az ukrán vagy mint az orosz hímestojásé, de a mintája eltérő. Írókával készülnek úgy mint az orosz pysankyk. Mai időben nem annyira népszerűek mint a drótos tojás vagy mint a madeira mintás lyukas tojás. Fehér tojáshéj használandó. A kezdőknek ajánlatos előszösz ceruzával megrajzolni a vezető vonalakat. Ezeket áthúzni forró viasz és parafin keverékbe mártott írókával. A tojásokat fokozatosan mártjuk a festébe. Először a világosba, mint például a sárga, utána megint megrajzoljuk a következő vonalat vagy mintát, majd a sötétebb szín következik mint a naracssárga vagy piros. Végül a megrajzolt tojásról gyertyaláng közelében felolvasszuk a viaszt és puha anyaggal letöröljük. Ez az alapja az írókával díszített hímestojának.


Tento typ kraslíc sa mi veľmi páči. Ich príprava je podobná ako príprava ruských alebo ukrajinských pysaniek, len vzory sú odlišné. V dnešnej dobe nie jú také populárne ako drôtované alebo madeirované kraslice, ale sú veľmi krásne. Pripravujú sa na biele škrupiny. Najlepšie je najprv nakresliť ceruzkou čiarky a potom pretiahnuť ich trubičkou namočenou do horúcej zmesi vosku a parafínu. Vajíčka postupne máčame do farieb od svetlejšej, ako je žltá až do tmavšej. Po nakreslení ďalšej čiary alebo vzoru nasleduje tmavšia farba  ako je oranžová alebo červená. Keď práca je hotová, vajíčko priložíme k plameňu sviečky, aby sa rozpustil vosk, a potom jemnou handričkou z nej vosk odstránime.

Engraved simple Easter eggs

It is already 12 years I am making decorated eggs and I still likely do them. It is my hobby, my passion! When I see some nice pictures or flowers it impress me for creating a new piece of my art. Here on this picture is a simple scratched decorated eggs. If you are a beginner, you can try to make them also.

Immár 12 éve foglalkozom hímestojások díszítésével és még mindig szeretem. Ez a hobbim, a szenvedélyem.
Ha látok egy szép képet vagy virágot, az elso gondolat ami az eszembe jut, hogy hogyan orokíthetném meg a hímestojáson. Ezen a képen egy egyszeru karcolt tojásminta láthato. Ha kezdo vagy és szeretnéd megpróbálni, hát nosza!!! Ez egy egyszeru minta:))

Už 12 rokov sa zaoberám kraslicami a ešte stále ich robím s láskou. Je to moje hobby, moja vášeň. Ak uvidím nejaký pekný obraz alebo kvet, prvé čo ma napadne je ako by som ho mohla zvečniť na kraslici.
Na tomto obrázku jednoduché gravírované kvietky a ak si začiatočník alebo začiatočníčka a chcela by si vyskúšať tvorbu krasíc, tak tieto vzorky sú vhodné. Tak sa pusti do toho:))

Easter eggs with straw - Happy Easter

Easter is the celebration of the rebirth of Jesus. It is the blessed time to celebrate the life and the approach of Spring. Decorated eggs, Easter eggs or Pysanky are given at Easter to  people  who we love, wish the best for them and who we wish to please or make happy.  Handmade Decorated eggs are very popular Easter decoration of our home.

An easy recipe for Easter - Sweet coconut balls

Mix together 200 g desiccated coconut meal, 200 g powdered 
sugar , 60 g cocoa powder, 2 egg whites,  100 g grated butter.Put it in the fridge for a few hours. Afterward,create little walnut sized ball from the mix..  Cover them with desiccated coconut meal.

Húsvét Jézus  újjászületésének ünnepe. Ez az  áldott ünnep  egyben az új  életet  és a tavasz közeledtének ünnepe is. Húsvéti tojásokkal, hímes tojásokkal  azokat ajándékozunk meg általában  akiket szívből szeretünk. A Húsvéti tojás a ma is modern háztartásunk népszerű dísze.

Egyszerű édesség recept Húsvétra. - Kókusz golyó -  keverjük össze 200 g kókuszreszeléket , 200 g porcukor, 60 g kakaópor, 2 tojásfehérjét , 100 g reszelt vajat. Hagyjuk  a hűtőben néhány órára megdermedni.. A masszából dió méretű golyókat készítünk amit  kókuszreszelékben meghempergetünk. Boldog húsvéti ünnepeket!

Veľká noc je oslavou znovuzrodenia Ježiša. Je to požehnaný čas na oslavu života a prichádzajúcej jari. Veľkonočné vajíčka alebo Pysanky darujeme ľuďom, ktorích máme radi. Ručne zdobené vajíčka sú populárnou Veľkonočnou výzdobou nášho príbytku aj v dnešnej modernej dobe.

Jednoduchý recept na Veľkú noc - Kosové guľky

Zmiešajme200 g sušenej kokosovej múčky, 200 g práškového cukru, 60 g kakaového prášku, 2 vaječné bielky, 100 g strúhaného masla. Hmotu dajme stuhúť do  chladničky na niekoľko hodín. Potom z hmoty vytvárame guľky veľké ako orechy, ktoré obaľujeme v kokosovej múčke.

Príjemné prežitie Veľkonočných sviatkov!
