Decorating with straw

Here you can see the steps how to prepare the straw for decorating. I use it mostly for decorating the Easter eggs, but it can be used to making  a pictures or sculptures too.

Itt láthatjátok a lépéseket, hogy kell a szalmát elokészíteni a díszítéshez. Én általában a Húsvéti tojás díszítésére használom, de lehet képeket alkotni szalmábol és kulonféle figurákat. Pl. harangot, angyalkát. stb.

Tu môžeš vidieť postup, ako pripraviť slamu na dekorovanie. Ja to používam väčšinou na dekorovanie Veľkonočných vajec. Zo slamy sa dajú ale vytvoriť aj rôzne obrazy a figúrky, ako zvončeky, anjiely a pod.

crocheted jewelry

Yesterday I´v got this idea crochet the ring and the final outcome suprised me. It looks very good. The crochet pattern is very easy and suitable for the beginners. I´v used silver lace for crochet, crochet cook and one piece of bead.

Tegnap eszembe jutott, hogy mi lenne ha kipróbálnám  hogynézne ki ha horgonák egy gyurut. Ezust cérnát használtam. Az eredmény nagyon tetszik, kezdok is konnyen elkészíthetik. nagyon egyszeru.

Včera ma napadlo že skúsim uháčkovať prsteň. Výsledok ma prekvapil vyzerá veľmi dobre. Myslím si že ho budem aj nosiť.

I like these kind of Easter eggs very much. The technique of making these decorated eggs are similar like Russian or Ukrainan easter eggs but the patterns are different. They are made with kistka, these easter eggs are called pysanky. At the present the making of these kind of decorated eggs are not so popular although they are wonderful. More popular are the modern type of them like wired or decorated eggs like madeira embroidery.
Only white eggshells are used. If someone is a beginer, it´s a good idea to draw the lines with a pencil, and draw out with the kistka.
Submerge the kistka into a hot mix of wax and paraffin and draw the line on the white eggshell. After that is done, submerge the eggshell in a brighter color, like yellow. Next, draw another line or form with the kistka and submerge the egg in a darker color, like orange or red.
Finally, you have to hold the egg close to a candle fire, for the wax to become liquid, and while it´s in that state, wipe it of carefully with a soft piece of cloth.

Ez a fajta hímestojás nagyon tetszik. Az elkészítése technikája hasonló mint az ukrán vagy mint az orosz hímestojásé, de a mintája eltérő. Írókával készülnek úgy mint az orosz pysankyk. Mai időben nem annyira népszerűek mint a drótos tojás vagy mint a madeira mintás lyukas tojás. Fehér tojáshéj használandó. A kezdőknek ajánlatos előszösz ceruzával megrajzolni a vezető vonalakat. Ezeket áthúzni forró viasz és parafin keverékbe mártott írókával. A tojásokat fokozatosan mártjuk a festébe. Először a világosba, mint például a sárga, utána megint megrajzoljuk a következő vonalat vagy mintát, majd a sötétebb szín következik mint a naracssárga vagy piros. Végül a megrajzolt tojásról gyertyaláng közelében felolvasszuk a viaszt és puha anyaggal letöröljük. Ez az alapja az írókával díszített hímestojának.


Tento typ kraslíc sa mi veľmi páči. Ich príprava je podobná ako príprava ruských alebo ukrajinských pysaniek, len vzory sú odlišné. V dnešnej dobe nie jú také populárne ako drôtované alebo madeirované kraslice, ale sú veľmi krásne. Pripravujú sa na biele škrupiny. Najlepšie je najprv nakresliť ceruzkou čiarky a potom pretiahnuť ich trubičkou namočenou do horúcej zmesi vosku a parafínu. Vajíčka postupne máčame do farieb od svetlejšej, ako je žltá až do tmavšej. Po nakreslení ďalšej čiary alebo vzoru nasleduje tmavšia farba  ako je oranžová alebo červená. Keď práca je hotová, vajíčko priložíme k plameňu sviečky, aby sa rozpustil vosk, a potom jemnou handričkou z nej vosk odstránime.
